Ginny Weasley is the youngest of seven. Growing up with six boys made her tough and strong, which led her not to be afraid to stand up to enemies and friends. When she accompanied her brother Ron to board the train for his very first year at Hogwarts, Ginny got a glimpse of Harry Potter and developed a crush on him since then.

It was 1992 when she finally got her own chance to go to Hogwarts, but she would soon find out that it wouldn't be as awesome as she originally thought. The summer before the term started, Harry Potter came to her house and she had a very bad time trying to avoid him and not embarrass herself in front of him. When they went to Diagon Alley to buy their school supplies, Lucius Malfoy put a diary with the rest of her books, which she didn't know until it was too late. The only thing she knew was that she had found a friend in the book and that was all that mattered. That's how she met Tom Riddle. Ginny opened the Chamber of Secrets under the influence of Voldemort and released the basilisk to attack muggle-borns. In the end of the school year, Harry Potter saved her life and destroyed the book that had caused her so much damage.

Second year wasn't as shaking as the first one, except for the news of certain murderer named Sirius Black escaping Azkaban. Ginny spent days worrying that he might reach her family... or Harry. Fortunately, nothing ever happened to them.

Her third year was quite interesting, due to the Triwizard Tournament. She wasn't pleased at all when Harry's name came out of the goblet and she always stood up for him whenever she heard people calling him a liar or a cheater. Ginny always believed in him, even when he came back with Cedric's body and claimed that Voldemort was back.

During her fourth year, Ginny joined the DA, which brought her closer to Harry than she would ever think that she could be. He, however, still saw her as his best friend's little sister, which annoyed her to no end. Ginny proved to be a great witch and became even more self-confident than she was before. A whole year with Umbridge as a professor and Headmistress, the absence of Dumbledore and a snake attacking her father, Ginny's life was shattered that year. The battle at the ministry changed her life, especially after Sirius' death, which shocked her greatly.

Her fifth year could be described as the best that she could remember. Even when Voldemort's power was more and more evident, Ginny couldn't be happier due her relationship with Harry improving so greatly than they even became a couple. Apart from that, Ginny joined the Quidditch team actively and not just as a replacement. She kept on working on her wand work and getting ready to fight if it was necessary.

Now, in her sixth year, with Voldemort taking over the wizarding world, the love of her life, her two best friends and her brother gone, Ginny has reactivated the DA along with Neville Longbottom, trying to help her friends as much as she could and keep on the fight within Hogwarts. Even when she misses Harry, she understands his reasons and she can only hope that everything will turn out good in the end.

The whole Alley was filled up with many students that seemed nervous, excited or simply ecstatic. This was why Gio liked summers so much; there was just so much energy all over Diagon Alley! Such a fantastic sight! Grinning happily at the happy scene, the thirteen year old wandered aimlessly around the place. He was not going to buy his supplies, that his mother had done as soon as he had gotten his letter, to avoid crowds, she had said. But Gio didn't like avoiding crowds, he loved them! He didn't mind the pushing, the heat, the nothing. He just loved them. It was just so nice to have such a big opportunity to make friends!

Keeping up with his wandering, Gio suddenly found himself passing by Quidditch Quality Supplies and immediately felt himself attracted to it. On the front window, the latest Nimbus was displayed in all its magnificence. It was beautiful, perfect. Maybe this year he would convince his parents to buy it for him. He had, after all, made it to the team and he was now a prefect. Such an amazing excuse - er... reason to ask for a new broom. Feeling totally hypnotized by the amazingness of the broom, Giovanny pressed his face on the cool glass and stared at it for what felt like hours. Longing washed over him; he wanted it - no, needed it. He was so asking his parents for it. They hadn't give him anything for his birthday anyway! It was more than fair.

A boy that stood next to him, and who he hadn't noticed before, suddenly spoke, making Giovanny to jump startled away from the window. When he finally understood what had happened, Gio laughed at his own silliness and nodded his head. "It is gorgeous! I wish I had it!" he exclaimed, referring to the broom. Blue eyes scanned the boy and Gio stuck out his hand "The name is Giovanny, but you can call me Gio" he said grinning at the boy. On the corner of his eye, he also spotted a girl standing not so far from him.

"Why hello, are you a soon-to-be first year?" he asked warmly. After all, niceness to others was what made good friendships.
