It's 1991. Harry Potter is just beginning his first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. We all know how that ends... right? Well, that's up to you! 'To Start Again' is a literate Harry Potter roleplaying site that allows members to decide how Harry and his friends turn out. Maybe Harry doesn't become friends with Ron Weasley or maybe Voldemort actually gets him in third year. Does Hermione actually pursue Ron, or does she choose Seamus instead? Perhaps everything turns out the way it was supposed to! It's all up to the members.
Long posts are not necessary here. As long as your posts are literate (proper spelling/grammar), one-paragraph posts are perfectly acceptable. This site's purpose is to make roleplaying simple again. No long, seven paragraph posts, just writing easy and simple threads.
Months will change every two weeks unless it's a month with something big happening, in which case all members will be notified.
The site can go from being canon to going in a different direction as long as the characters stay in-character (Hermione cannot randomly be stupid, for example). It's all up to you! If you're interested, continue to the site, perhaps to our simple character application. Hope you have a good time, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask!
